  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT the April 5, 2022 Council Meeting Agenda be approved as presented.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Council move into Closed Session at    pm to discuss matters under the Municipal Act, Section 239(2)(c) a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board, (e) litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board and (h) information explicitly supplied in confidence to the municipality or local board by Canada, a province or territory or a Crown agency of any of them.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT the April 5, 2022 Closed Session adjourn at   pm. and Regular Council reconvene at 7:00 pm.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT the minutes of the March 15, 2022 Council meeting be adopted as presented.

PLANNING
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Report PL 04-2022 being a report respecting a Site Plan Application for a change of use and payment of cash-in-lieu of parking requirements on lands known as 20 Main Street, Grand Bend, be received; and

    THAT the Site Plan Agreement between the Corporation of the Municipality of Lambton Shores and Devcor Capital Inc. be approved; and

    THAT By-Law 23 of 2022 be approved to execute a Site Plan Agreement between the Corporation of the Municipality of Lambton Shores and Devcor Capital Inc. for lands known as 20 Main Street, Grand Bend.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Report PL 05-2022 respecting a request to enter into an agreement permitting the import and stockpiling of fill on lands described as Part Lots 6 to 10, Con LRE (BO), be received; and

    THAT the Agreement between the Corporation of the Municipality of Lambton Shores and Drewlo Holdings Inc. be approved; and

    THAT By-Law 22 of 2022 be approved to execute an Agreement between the Corporation of the Municipality of Lambton Shores and Drewlo Holdings Inc.

ADMINISTRATION
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Report CAO 04-2022 regarding the “Short Term Rental By-Law and Licensing Program” be received.

COMMUNITY SERVICES
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Report DCS 11-2022 regarding the “Ice Resurfacing Unit Tender Award” be received; and

    THAT the tender received from Zamboni Company Ltd. in the amount of $109,8250.00 excluding HST ($111,757.92 net HST), for the supply and delivery of an Ice Resurfacing Unit be accepted; and

    THAT staff be authorized to sign the associated contract agreement.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT DCS 12-2022 regarding the “Grand Bend Art Centre Lease Renewal” be received; and

    THAT the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the associated agreement.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Report DCS 13-2022 regarding the “Grand Bend Beach Seasonal Washrooms” be received; and

    THAT staff be directed to provide a portable washroom at the Grand Bend Beach House annually during the spring and fall months.

PUBLIC WORKS
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Report DPW 07-2022 regarding LAWSS Joint Funding Application Request be received; and

    THAT a LAWSS Joint Funding Application that targets the 20-year planning horizon for all projects that does not impede the Municipality’s ability to apply and secure grant funding for similar projects be supported; and

    THAT the Lambton Shores portion (approximately 2%) of 1/3 of $135 million over the next twenty years for LAWSS Capital projects be committed.

FINANCIAL SERVICES
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Report TR 10-2022 regarding the request from the Lambton Senior Citizens Home Corp be received; and

    THAT the request for a tax rebate for 41 Morris St. be denied.

CORPORATE SERVICES
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Report CL 12-2022 Appointment of Municipal By-Law Enforcement Officers be received; and

    THAT By-Law 19 of 2022 be approved.
