  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT the November 30, 2021 Council meeting agenda be approved as presented.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Council move into Closed Session at   p.m. to discuss matters under the Municipal Act, Section 239(2)(e) litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board, Section 239(2)(c) a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board and Section 239(2)(b) personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT the minutes of the November 9, 2021 Council meeting be adopted as presented.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT the presentation from the Sunset Community Foundation be received.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT the presentation from the Centre Ipperwash Community Association be received.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Items #10.1, 10.2, 10.3 and 10.4 of the Agenda be received.

PLANNING
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Report PL 43-2021 relating to an Assumption By-Law be received.

    THAT Creek Side Place and Blocks 28, 30, and 31 as identified on Plan 25M-70 and the works located therein be assumed by the Municipality of Lambton Shores.

    THAT By-Law 88 of 2021 be approved.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Report PL 44-2021, relating to a Zoning By-Law Amendment Application submitted by Huron Shores Investments Inc., be received; and

    THAT Zoning By-Law Amendment Application ZO-15/2021, submitted by Huron Shores Investments Inc., requesting an amendment to Zoning By-Law 1 of 2003 to remove the H1 holding symbol from 77 and 85 Ontario St South, Grand Bend, be approved; and

    THAT By-Law 89 of 2021 be approved.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Report PL 45-2021, relating to a proposed Development Agreement with Simply Paradise Interior Design Inc., be received;

    THAT the Development Agreement between the Corporation of the Municipality of Lambton Shores and Simply Paradise Interior Design Inc. for lands known as 12 and 14 Warwick Street, Grand Bend be approved; and

    THAT By-Law 94 of 2021 to authorize the execution of a Development Agreement be approved.

CORPORATE and STRATEGIC
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Report CAO 13-2021 regarding the “Forest Arena” be received; and

    THAT staff be directed to consult with contracted users of the Forest Arena including the Optimist Club of Forest and the Forest Contact House to determine current and future need and use of the facility; and

    THAT a subsequent report be provided to Council outlining options for the facility.

FINANCE
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Report TR 26-2021 regarding the 2022 Budget Survey be received for information.

ADMINISTRATION
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Report CL 27-2021 regarding 2022 Community Grant Requests be received; and

    THAT all eligible financial requests and all in-kind requests be approved pending the adoption of the 2022 budget.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Report CL 28-2021 regarding the “2022 Vibrancy Requests” be received; and

    THAT the following 15 groups receive funding through the Community Vibrancy Fund for a total funding commitment of $109,795.89:

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Report CL 30-2021 regarding “Election Sign By-Law” be received; and

    THAT By-Law 87-2021 being a by-law to regulate election signs be approved.
