• RECOMMENDATION:

  THAT Report PL 08-2024, relating to a Zoning By-Law Amendment Application, submitted by Ron Vanos be received;

  THAT Zoning By-Law Amendment Application ZO-05/2024 submitted by Ron Vanos requesting an amendment to Zoning By-Law 1 of 2003 to prohibit a dwelling of any kind on the retained lands of a surplus farm dwelling severance at 8545 Rawlings Road, be approved; and

  THAT By-Law 30 of 2024 be approved.

Report DCS 10-2024 - RFP Award – Cemetery Grass Maintenance

• RECOMMENDATION:

  THAT Report DCS 10-2024 regarding the RFP Award – Cemetery Grass Maintenance be received; and

  THAT the Proposal received from 4C Commercial Mowing for the submitted price of $63,280.00 including HST per year for a period of three years be accepted; and

  THAT the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute the associated agreement.

• RECOMMENDATION:

  THAT Report DPW 08-2024 regarding the 2023 Lambton Shores Annual Water Reports be received; and

  THAT the following water reports be received for information:

  2023 East Lambton Shores Water Distribution System Annual

  Summary Report;

  2023 East Lambton Shores Water Distribution System Annual

  Report;

  2023 West Lambton Shores Water Distribution System Annual

  Summary Report; and

  2023 West Lambton Shores Water Distribution System Annual

  Report.

Report TR 05-2024 - 2023 Development Charges Statement

• RECOMMENDATION:

  THAT Report TR 05-2023 regarding the 2023 Development Charges Statement is received; and

  THAT the 2023 Development Charges Statement for submission to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing in accordance with The Development Charges Act be approved.

Report TR 06-2024 - 2023 Cash in Lieu of Parkland

• RECOMMENDATION:

  THAT Report TR 06-2024 regarding 2023 Cash in Lieu of Parkland be received; and

  THAT the Cash in Lieu of Parkland Statement be approved; and

  THAT the Treasurer’s Cash in Lieu of Parkland Statement be posted on the Lambton Shores website.

Report TR 08-2024 - Audit Questionnaire

• RECOMMENDATION:

  THAT Report TR 08-2024 regarding the Audit Questionnaire be received; and

  THAT the municipal auditors be informed that Council is aware of the Municipality’s administrative fiscal management processes and have no suspicion or knowledge of fraud and error.

Report TR 09-2024 - Forest Business Improvement Area 2024 Budget

• RECOMMENDATION:

  THAT Report TR 09-2024; regarding the Forest Business Improvement Area 2024 Budget be received, and

  THAT the Forest Business Improvement Area 2024 Budget in the amount of $28,500.00 be approved.

ADMINISTRATION

Report CAO 04-2024 - Municipal Accommodation Tax

• RECOMMENDATION:

  THAT Report CAO 04-2024 regarding the “Municipal Accommodation Tax” be received; and

  THAT staff be directed to request Tourism Sarnia-Lambton to prepare and present to Council a draft work plan for the potential use of monies generated through a Municipal Accommodation Tax; and

  THAT staff be directed to prepare a draft agreement with Tourism Sarnia-Lambton for the use of MAT monies as an identified not-for-profit tourism entity.
